Reading time in the Koala Room
Welcome to the Koala Room. This is the room for two and three year olds and holds twenty places.
The centre has two full time early childhood teachers and four experienced and friendly early childhood staff and a part-time administration staff member.

Positions and Fees
The Koala Room has 20 positions.
Our fees are kept to a minimum as we are a Community based not for profit Centre. Parents who are eligible for Child Care Benefit may pay as low as $12.89 per day. In addition, working/studying parents will receive a rebate of 50% of their contribution to fees.

Terri-Anne McRae
Hi, to all the wonderful families of Galloway. For those who don't know me already my name is Terri-Anne McRae, although I preferred to be called TA (Mum has only ever called me Terri-Anne when I was in trouble). I am a born and bred Armidillian, growing up on the east side of Armidale. Having three older brothers I was very spoilt. My schooling was at Newling and Duval before having a year off before studying for my chosen career in Child Care at the Armidale TAFE.
At the end of 1992 I moved to the big smoke of Sydney. I worked in Before & After School Care and eventually becoming a co-ordinator at a B&ASC in the Eastern Suburbs. I returned to Armidale at the end of 1997 for family reasons. After 6 years of Child Care I was fortunate to join the Galloway Team and have never looked back. I love and enjoy watching each and every child's growth and development, also working with all the dedicated staff. I look forward to many more years here at Galloway. Thank you.
Anindita Ghosh
Annie attained Certificate 111 in Children's Services, 09, 1 and half years Primary School Teachers' Training, Diploma in Indian Classical Music, Senior Diploma in Painting and also worked at other Childcare Centres. Annie also has B.Sc. with Physics Honours. Annies calm and gentle nature makes children comfortable, and her diverse experiences benefit the Centre.
Jodie Smith
Originally I am from the small country town of Dunedoo NSW. I moved to Armidale to study the Diploma of Children's Services and have now lived in Armidale for over 5 years.
I first came to Galloway as a TAFE Student in May 2007 and then again in November 2007 for my final work placement.
I enjoyed working at Galloway because of the encouraging and supportive Staff and the very active Children who obviously enjoyed being there. In December 2007, I started working permanent part-time, Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays when a position opened up mid 2008, I was successful and became fulltime.
