Julie Dawson (Director)
Julie Dawson has worked at Galloway for over 17 years. Prior to Galloway, Julie worked as a family day carer, a casual primary school teacher and as a teacher of children with learning difficulties.
She completed her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) in 1987 and has been the Authorised Supervisor of Galloway since November, 2007.
Professionally, Julie is committed community based early learning, to the value of quality teaching and a learning in early childhood, to the role of supporting families and, especially to the joy and delight of assisting young children to play explore, discover, and learn.
Personally, her main interests revolve around her family. She is the proud Nan to five delightful and very busy grandchildren and enjoys in her spare time seeking out bargains at garage sales, reading and dining out.
Dianne Kim
Hello my name is Dianne, I have been at Galloway for 15 years. I have had the privilege of working in the Koala and Possum rooms.
I was born in Walcha and lived in Woolbrook for five years before moving to the big city "Armidale". I'm the eighth child of nine. I have four daughters, a son, a stepson and nine grandchildren as if that's not enough. My husband and I live across from Galloway and the children think it's wonderful that Michael drives the big truck parked out front.
I enjoy the challenges of getting to know the new children and families. I have made many friends over the years and have been rewarded by people acknowledging my efforts.
Just recently I went on a cruise to Vanuatu with my five sisters and my Mother. We shared some great memories and had a ball.
Your dedicated carer Dianne.
Karly Jeffrey
